Sherwin Hughes: Never Stop Being True To Yourself

  • Championship leaders are those who have an influence on your life.
  • The threshold of leadership today is low. Truly leadership is when you have done something inspiring and deserve a following.
  • Just because someone has a large following doesn’t mean they’re a leader.
    • You need to be a positive role model to be a leader; it’s not just about the following.
  • Sometimes plans work out, but the real leadership is about how you handle things when plans do not work.
  • When things don’t work out, take inventory of what you have instead of feeling sad about what you might have had.
  • Write down five things you want to accomplish and read it every single day.
  • If you’re being true to yourself and working with your passion, do not stop.
    • People will tell you that your dreams are impossible, but you need to keep going.

Important Quotes:

“When you follow your passion, things will flow.”

“Through the disappointment a lot of other opportunities came up.”

“You have to be yourself.”

“Just continue to be better.”

“Dreams can come true.”

“Just keep going.”
